The function of this SHOULD be part of the PDF creation software itself and is no real security as anyone can remove the OWNER password WITHOUT knowing the OWNER password. PDF’s with USER passwords with strongest AES may be hard to crack by brute force but are trivial to have the password removed by anyone you give the password to so they can view it… so there is NO persistent security and it’s certainly not worth entering into a subscription for as don’t forget they also rent out a PDF password remover too!
