I recommend Hard Drive Sentinel as it understands SATA,PATA and NVMe internal storage devices and this only handles legacy SATA and PATA internal storage devices.
This software desperately needs updating to support current tech.
I note that the installer version of this product downloadable from their website product page is version 11.2 AND is linked for Windows NT 6.1 or above and will not even be recognised as a valid win32 executable under Vista and XP so your system requirements published above is incorrect. Their product page states:
“Operating System:
(64 Bit only) Windows 11, 10, 8.1, & 8 and Mac OS X 10.11 and above” so they don’t even support 64bit Windows 7!
Does this also monitor NVMe drives or just SATA and PATA drives? If not then it needs to be updated to current technology.
In answer to myself NO, THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT SUPPORT MONITORING ANY STATS OF NVMe SSD drives. Tested it myself. SO if you have NVMe storage on your computer don’t waste your time and SSD erase/write cycles installing and then uninstalling this!

congratulations you can copy and paste albeit with added asterisks but does not address my question and point, if it does not know about NVMe drives it is less than useless on modern systems.The statement they make means it works effectively on SATA SSDs that are old generation and NOT NVMe SSDs.
