I made an error pcloud is not based in China but is based in Switzerland, a page I went to from here ended up on a page with lots of Chinese glyphs as graphics led me to make the wrong deduction… can’t find that page anymore! Sorry for misleading about this companys geo-location and privacy concerns.

Weird I clicked through to what should’ve been their site on another giveaway with same offering and was greeted by graphics with lots of Chinese looking glyphs so deduced they were Chinese in origin just looked from this giveaway and see they’re based in Switzerland so cancel the concerns over a Chinese cloud provider, thanks for the correction 😁

lies pCloud brand. I register, log in and it says that the password is not correct. I give reset and it says that it is not registered. I make an account and it says that the email is in use. how stupid!

What happens after the end of subscription? Their FAQ mentions that the account is downgraded to FREE one, and the files beyond that quota are deleted.
You can use 500GB for a year but have to copy your files somewhere else before subscription ends or pay 199 euros for a lifetime subscription. I simply don´t use this kind of giveaways.
