I have this from a previous giveaway and found it’s unregistered state is fine for casual youtube content stealing… it just nags to register which can be dismissed. It also illegally distributes GPLv3 FFMPEG.EXE in a closed source package, they do the illegal unlicensed distribution after main programs installation presumably they think that makes the illegal distribution legal… it does not. It also auto-updates the yt-dlp.exe it calls “helperutility.exe” which means the main program update is not needed so often… but as I said without the giveaway license it’s still quite usable and will auto-update as necessary and if youtube ceases to function and a major program update is required but not supported by the giveaway license you will still be able to use the essential features.
