What is the version being offered here? Is this a clone of sharewareonsale.com giveaway offering of 2.0 in which case it is obsolete I got version 2.6 back in 2025 as a giveaway after having problems with bugs in an earlier giveaway of 2.0 I note also that this Chinese product is illegally distributing GPLv3 licensed FFMPEG DLLs in their closed source product which is explicitly against FFMPEG GPLv3 license terms and conditions.
Yup this is clone of the SOS giveaway of old buggy illegal version 2.0 latest illegal giveaway version is 2.6 that actually works out of the box, for me 2.0 did not, presumably because it did not perform a DNS request before trying the download the inferences so would fail every time it tried… 2.5 non giveaway did perform inferences fetches correctly then you can re-install buggy old 2.0 giveaway build and use the giveaway license.
Every time I try to use any of the AI engines it goes to download them but immediately fails, either their server is down or has changed URL’s to get “AI inference” but it is non-functional without them, leaving only manual selection which defeats the object of the exercise! For me I found a workaround that seems to work. I checked for updates and it found the current version 2.5 and offered to download and update, I accepted and it downloaded restarted when prompted and upgraded and rejected the giveaway license. SO was in trial mode. Tried AI selections and this time they downloaded correctly when selected and launched. I then exited the program and re-installed the giveaway 2.0 version and it downloaded to a different sub-folder some of the AI inferences and used some of the previously downloaded AI inferences. My experiences on a photo of some trees it assumed all of it was background on all AI models but the samples worked well other photos I used had varying results.

By default the program is installed in the “program files (x86)” folder. Is this a 32bit program?
I noticed that too, it defaults to installing into the program files (x86) hierarchy BUT is a 64bit executable! At least they installed it into a non-elevated user write protected location unlike so many other Chinese untrained “developers” that install into the unprotected users\username\ hierarchy.
