installer provided was built using a newer version of inno installer and so will NOT execute in any windows prior to NT 6.1 IT WILL NOT INSTALL UNDER Vista or XP.
“System OS: Windows Vista/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1/8, and Windows 10.” is inaccurate and not verified.
I recompiled the installer using a version 5.x inno setup which then allowed me to install it under 32bit Vista, no errors were produced during the recompile and no editing of the iss script file were required.
The installer I built should install and run under XP and above… ibeesoft could easily do the same. It activates ok and installs over the top of version 2.0 I got back in 2017 and never needed to use, the UI of 2.0 looks much nicer than 4.5.0 offered here. And oddly because they changed main executables naming both 2.0 and 4.5 can co-exist in same install folder! A bug in the deployment of the program is while the program has 32bit build included the OfficeViewer.exe included is a 64bit ONLY executable so it will not be able to preview Office files under a 32bit edition of windows.
Note the portable edition they provide on their website does not accept the giveaway license so don’t waste your time with it unless you want to buy a license for it.
