note the use of the term “modern looks” is referring to 2017 as modern as that was when it was built and the controls are practically meaningless, rather than describing what the controls are technically doing to the photo data they are trying to use adjectives that mean nothing and explain nothing.
This might get more traction if it was usable as a photoshop filter plugin rather than a stand alone filter program and was able to avoid lossy recompression just to apply a filter.

What version?
From the look of the screenshot of the About screen it looks like the product does not have a version number! It was digitally signed in 2017 so if you’re looking for a new version after trying an old one back in 2018… nothing has changed.
