on every start it defaults to PNG output and 1pixel borders and Desktop and Tahoma font and black ink and so on… Even though it saves SOME settings in the settings.ini file… e.g.
“[Settings]
Textcolor=clNavy
Fontname=Tennessee SF
Fontsize=8
Fontstyle=2”
But it does not LOAD the settings.ini file on startup so the effort to save it is wasted.
Primary use for this is apparently to produce rasterised email addresses on websites in an effort to provide the information to the viewer but not the spamers spider bot trying to harvest email addresses. It is an option but is less than optimal as you cannot click and get the mailto: URL effect without adding a link to the image and doing that in plain html language is just as visible to spammers spider bots… it needs clever string slicing and dynamically generated html using javascript to get spammer spider bot immune email links on a web page.
This program needs more work to be pleasantly useful without having to reconfigure unwanted defaults every time the program is started.
