stolen giveaway from sharewareonsale.com, sadly it only monitors unsolicited data arriving at a given com port, it does not sniff data from another programs communications via the same port like a network packet sniffer as apparently no one has developed a library to sniff independently an open com port this is practically a cut down terminal that instead of rendering the ASCII it just shows a hex dump of the unsolicited input from a device connected to a com port. So very limited utility for research purposes.
