Does not work properly if VSS is enabled on the drive as data can be recovered from the volume shadowcopy store or via system restore or deep sector scan using any data recovery program and it WILL reduce lifespan of all FLASH memory based SSD and other FLASH memory based storage, contrary to their FAQs it is also NOT compatible with Windows Server 2008 or 2003 that is claimed on their product page.
Does not work in Windows 11 either, waste of time. Uninstalled.
DOES NOT WORK UNDER VISTA! This and other vendors that sell this eraser reskinned do not ever say what’s changed in new releases and never mention what they do with cluster tips which are places of data leakage if they are not properly overwritten. other incarnations of this eraser are AweEraser and DoYourData Super Eraser.
THEY ALL have inaccurate system requirements because THEY NEVER DEVELOPED THIS PRODUCT. They just reskinned it to reflect their brand and released it with some stock marketing blurb.
